Requirements:
- To be of Mexican nationality and
to reside at least from the year previous to the date of
selection in the state which she tries to represent.
- Single.
- Minimum age of 18 and maximum 24.
- Minimum height of 1.66 m.
- Minimum studies of High School or
equivalent.
- To have a beautiful body and face.
AWARDS FOR WINNERS
- The right to represent Mexico in Miss
Universe 1996.
- A brand new car.
- $120,000 pesos.
- Luxury wardrobe.
- A jewel.
- A personal computer.
THE FINALISTS WILL RECEIVE
Second Place
$25,000 pesos, a jewel, and a minicomputer.
Third Place
$15,000 pesos, a jewel.

It is necessary to emphasize that up to a few years ago the
minimal age was of 20 years, now it is like before .. the
height was less, and it was not a requirement to speak English,
besides the prizes were less. Now the second place goes to
Miss World.
