BIG attitude is necessary to be a winner in a beauty contest, and the best example is Nancy Cecilia Esparza Tinajero, who was representing the BIG state in the contest Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2001. Curiously Nancy did not win the state contest, Nuestra Belleza Chihuahua, she was the substitute surprisingly, among the victory of pretty Erika De La Rosa.


Already in the national contest, Nancy, finished in third place, she imposed among strong favorites as beautiful Erika Pena from Sonora, who many people thought she would be in the 5 finalists, but also darkened the impeccable catwalk of Diana Garcia from Monterrey considered as one of the best. Never the less, Nancy won a 5th place in the Miss Intercontinental 2000 staying over a beautiful and known universal competitor from South Africa, Cindy Nell.
