She had only two months to be crowned Miss Universe in Nicosia, Cyprus in 2000, and Lara Dutta from India arrived to Mexico City in a flight from New York , she came to participate in a publicity campaign for Herbal Essences Color of Clairol, there were 3 days with intensive session work , between photo shoot, interviews and a spectacular catwalk in the restaurant “El Lago” in the historic Chapultepec.

All time Lara, 22 years old, was very professional always with a smile and very good mood , in spite of have spent 20 hours in front cameras and reflectors, “I am charming to be in Mexico, it is a great country and I find many coincidences with India as the diversity of colors, the kindness of people and the richness of our cultures”, she said.
