During seventies, beautiful faces took by storm the TV and cinema, faces like Lynda Carter, Olivia Newton-John, Farra Fawcett, Jacklin Smith, Lindsay Wagner or Chery Land, prototypes of beauty that turned into an icon of beauty that has exceeded the barrier of the time.

Rich, famous and talented, everyone in her own style, but only one comes from a prestigious beauty pageant.

Lynda Carter, born as Linda Jean Córdova Carter in Phoenix, Arizona; her father Colby Carter is an Irish American and her mother Juana Cordova is Mexican. Before become famous she looked herself as an ugly girl because of her height (5’ 10”), she entered beauty pageants in her State and won Miss Phoenix, then Miss Arizona and finally won the National Competition, she traveled to London to represent United States at Miss World 1972 where she reached the semi finals.

Back to United States she carried on with her dream to become an actress, taking part in small roles in tv and movies, making castings until she get the main role in the tvserie “the wonder woman”, one of the tvseries most seen in the world and a role which continues identified her nowadays.

Besides to take part in “wonder woman”, she has participated in others shows, the most recent is “Smallville”, she has also filmed some movies and recorded albums, and she won an Emmy. She is currently living in Boston, USA with her second husband.
